Our Club
Established in 2008, Learning Tree Table Tennis Club was founded by Principal Hong Yu and Coach Earl Alto. Dedicated educators and table tennis enthusiasts sought to create a ping pong club within an after school program. Their goal: create an engaging environment for students to learn table tennis skills while incorporating the significance of mastering competitive skills in sports and translating that success to various aspects of life.
What started with one coach and a handful of students has successfully transformed into one of the most competitive clubs in the US. We take pride in fostering well-rounded student-athletes who not only excel in table tennis, but also display exemplary sportsmanship and become commendable individuals in society. In addition, the club has nurtured numerous students who have made the National Team or gone on to attend prestigious Ivy League institutions. These achievements have not only boosted the club's reputation, but also instilled a sense of community and accomplishment within our school.
